Photograph of a full length portrait of Lord Henry Percy, seated at a table. He wears a military uniform.
Percy was a soldier and MP. He fought at the Battles of Balaklava, Inkerman and the Seige of Sebastopol, for which he was awarded the Victoria Cross. He was present at the first Investiture of the Victoria Cross in Hyde Park in 1857. He was an Aide-de-Camp to Queen Victoria from 1855 to 1865.
