The group are, from left to right, Colonel Bruce, Mr Frederick Gibbs, Major Teesdale, Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, Dr Ernst Becker, Colonel Ponsonby and General Grey. The young prince stands at the centre of the group, facing towards the camera. He wear full Highland dress. Photograph taken at Balmoral.
