Hand-coloured engraving of a rocky arch, Der Thorstein, with people walking along a path, in Thuringia, Germany.

In Queen Victoria's Journal on Thuesday 18th September 1862 she writes 'went up part of the Felsenthal, which is quite beautiful & on to the Thorstein, a very curious natural arch, looking down a beautiful valley'.
