Photograph of an artwork depicting the first canto of 'The Lady of the Lake', the poem by Sir Walter Scott. The artwork was created by Victoria, the Princess Royal. The artwork depicts a woman, Ellen Douglas, standing on a small boat, near rocks, in a lake. She holds a stick oar.
