Photograph of a stag's head with 10 point antlers and facing three-quarters to the left, supported on top of a wooden box placed against a wall. The stag was shot by the Prince Consort.
Queen Victoria wrote in her journal for the 3rd October, 1857, that: 'Albert returned [from hunting on Carnluchan], having after infinite trouble got a very fine stag, which was shown after dinner.' RA VIC/MAIN/QVJ (W) 3rd October 1857
