Photograph of a full length double portrait of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) and Prince Albert (1819-1861) on the terrace at Osborne. The photograph shows Queen Victoria seated, facing right. Prince Albert stands behind her, facing towards the camera and leaning against the wall.  

In Queen Victoria's Journal entry for Tuesday 26 July 1859, she wrote that '- Was photographed in the Lower Terrace by Miss Day and together with Mama and the children' . Frances Sally Day was the first woman to photograph the royal family.
