AGOSTINO DEI MUSI (C. 1490-AFTER 1536)

A set of twenty ornamented panels

c.1530-1550

Engravings | RCIN 854234

A set of twenty engravings depicting ornamented panels that, according to Bartsch, reproduced drawing by Raphael or Giovanni da Udine (see Bibliographic References). According to Bartsch, there are two known states of these prints: first without the publisher's address and second with the address of the publisher Antonio Salamanca (see Bibliographic References).

Passavant catalogued this series as composed of twenty prints after drawings by Giovanni da Udine depicting grotesques (eighteen prints executed by Agostino Veneziano and two by Giacomo Francia) (see Bibliographic References).
